Moneyball Raffle

What is the Moneyball Raffle?

The Irondale Baseball League is introducing a new fundraiser in 2024, called Moneyball. This fundraiser directly benefits youth players in our baseball association, with proceeds geared toward future player development.

Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 during a 3-month period. The winners will be drawn during our annual IBL Fundraiser on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

The maximum number of tickets sold will be 1000. There will be 10 cash prize winners.

Purpose

Moneyball is a fun way for our baseball association to raise money to further develop our youth players.

This will come in the form of off-season training opportunities, clinics, renting indoor facilities, purchasing new baseball equipment, and more!

Not only does this benefit players but you have a chance to win CASH!

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a raffle ticket.

Winners must match the name and ticket number on the winning perforated ticket.

Each winner must present a form of identification showing they are 18 years of age or older.

Winners are responsible for any applicable fees or taxes. No refunds for tickets purchased.

How do I win?

First, you must purchase a raffle ticket and pay the Irondale Baseball League via Venmo (@IrondaleBaseballLeague).

Fill out the perforated portion of the ticket with your name, address, phone number, and email. This part of the ticket will be used for drawing and contacting winners.

The two-part ticket has a matching ticket number, which is needed to win a prize.

Do I need to be present to win?

No.

Winners will be drawn during the annual IBL fundraiser but there is no need to be present.

Ticket numbers will be called out to those present, and cash prizes will be awarded on-site.

Those who are not present will be contacted after the date of the fundraiser to claim their prize.

Winning numbers will be posted on the IBL website (
Irondale Baseball League (iblbaseball.com).

Can I purchase more than one raffle ticket?

Yes.

There is no limit on how many raffle tickets you can buy until we reach the maximum limit of tickets sold (1,000)!

Remember, the fundraiser benefits our youth baseball players directly, and we encourage you to join in on the fun!
