North Suburban League

Games and practices are all during the week.  Practices typically run 90 minutes (5-6:30 or 6:30- 8) while games are limited to a 2-hour duration (6-8 in May and 6:30 - 8:30 in June). Practices usually begin mid-April (weather permitting) and games begin the first week of May with games (including playoffs) conducted through mid-July.

Baseball registration uses a player's current age and grade at the time of registration.

10U - Grades 3 & 4

Teams are formed generally by school and location.

We will try to honor (NOT GUARANTEED) up to 2 mutual friend requests. They must be mutual.

* 2nd Graders are allowed to play 10U. We leave that decision up to the parents. Please keep in mind that this is kid pitch baseball and a higher level of skills and play will be instructed by coaches. Some prior baseball experience is recommended for younger players. 1st and 2nd grade players are encouraged to play in the IBL Coach Pitch League prior to participating in the IBL 10U Instructional League.

12U - Grades 5 & 6

Teams are generally formed by school and location. Leagues begin practice in mid-April with games beginning in early May running through mid-July with playoffs.

We will try to honor (NOT GUARANTEED) up to 2 mutual friend requests. They must be mutual.

* We may use the results of those who participated in traveling tryouts and did not make a traveling team to help determine instructional league teams.

*To keep teams competitive, IBL limits player play-ups to one level (i.e., your player is 12 on or before May 1st. They would be a 12U player but may choose to play up to 13U but not 14/15U.).
